As part of this reference project, a traction converter from Siemens Mobility in Nuremberg was tested on our multi-axis shaking table (MAST).
The focus was on the dynamic behaviour of the traction converter. In addition to a large number of acceleration sensors, a motion amplification camera was used to visualise the system behaviour.
This makes it possible to see not only that something is moving, but also how individual areas actually react under load.
The test was carried out in accordance with EN 61373:2010 – Category 1, Class A.
