“Let’s shine a light!” – at our shaker!
LED strips from LIGHTMAX GmbH for the railroad sector were tested at our 74 kN shaker in two versions:
- 1 x bonded
- 1 x clipped
The tests were carried out in accordance to EN 61373, the standard norm for railroad components exposed to vibration and shock. The aim was to evaluate both, the service life and the behavior under the effect of shock – including, of course, functional tests while the lights were in operation.
Practical test device
A special fixture was developed for the tests, which accurately reproduces the installation condition – because this is the only way to make practical statements.
With our shaker test, we bring a little more light into the darkness – for reliable data and robust products in use.
