4-Poster Road Simulator
The 4-Poster test bench is a vehicle-specific testing system designed to simulate vertical road load conditions on complete vehicles. Four servo-hydraulic hydropulse actuators with integrated wheel fixtures generate wheel-individual vibration and load profiles in the vertical direction, allowing real operating conditions to be reproduced with high accuracy.
In contrast to multiaxial simulation tables, the 4-poster focuses on controlled vertical excitation of complete vehicles for the investigation of suspension systems, structural integrity and mounted components.
